How do you reupholster outdoor furniture. You can use a staple removal tool if you have one. The other end of the fabric wraps all the way around. All three layers should be front side down. Work one section at a time lining up your new fabric with its corresponding location on the furniture.
Lay out the new fabric on a flat surface with the wrong side facing up. Staple your new fabric to the furniture. Use your staple gun with staples of the appropriate length to attach the fabric securely to the furniture. For chair pads you might need a set of pliers or a screwdriver to remove staples holding the old fabric in place.
Keep a jar or bowl nearby to collect all the old staples so that none go astray. Place the chair seat upside down and pull out all of the staples securing the old fabric. Put any cotton batting and the foam cushion inserts to one side. Remove the old fabric from the seat.
