How To Pack Lamps
Tie the wrapped lamp upright against the wall of the moving truck or stand it up between two heavy pieces of furniture so it won t move during transit.

9 out of 10 times you ll end up with a crushed lampshade and an unplanned trip to target. Wrap each base in packing paper adding a layer of air filled plastic wrap if the base is made of a delicate material like glass or porcelain. If there are multiple lampshades see if they can be nested inside each other to save both space and time. Protect these pieces by wrapping them in packing paper and taping the paper to keep it secure.
